INTEGRATED OUTREACH Services

The IOS (Integrated Outreach Services) team is made up of four MSW Social Workers and 1 Nurse Practitioner who work as first responders with the Police Department to reach and work with those who are most in need of assistance due to being without a home, having substance use disorders and more. This team works out of the Police Department to be a first responder to those in need and attempt to connect them to services within the community. 

Internship Program

MVPD offers internships to MSW students throughout the calendar year.  We can accept two candidates at the same time from any accredited school in the country. The candidates must pass a background check and polygraph test.  Internships can be individually designed to achieve each student's educational goals.  Contact the Outreach Coordinator directly for more information.
