Director Determinations

State law (RCW 36.70B) requires all jurisdictions provide a process for obtaining interpretations of development regulations during project review. In Mount Vernon, this is established as a Type I process under MVMC 14.05.020, which requires a written determination that may be appealed to the City’s Hearing Examiner.
