1. Upcoming Class

In 2023, the Mount Vernon Police Department will host its 27th annual Citizens Academy class. Citizens Academy is a 12-week program, starting in early February and running until late April or early May. Students are required to attend class from 6:30p - 9:30p every Thursday night during the academy, with a Saturday afternoon mock scene day in early April. If you're interested, applications are now available online or at the Mount Vernon Police Department.
