Snow Closures

For the safety of our staff and patrons, the library will be CLOSED on Saturday, February 9.

What to Know During Severe Weather:

Before heading to the library during severe weather, please check the Alert Center on City of Mount Vernon's Website to check the open/closed status of the library.

We will also post emergency notifications on the library's homepage and Facebook.

You can also call the library at (360) 336-6209 to check the open/closed status of the library.

Item Due? No Problem!

In the event the library is closed due to severe weather, all item due dates are changed to the next day we are open.

You can also renew your items by accessing your online account.  Simply enter the 14 digit account number on the back of your card (no spaces) and your pin number (usually the last 4 digits of your phone number).
