Holiday Music

Please join us on Monday evenings in December for some holiday music. The schedule is as follows:


Cantible

Monday, December 3 at 6:30 p.m.
Cantible is an ensemble of auditioned vocalists gathered from the Skagit Valley area that performs concerts of sacred and secular works. Their music genres range from classic to contemporary, and from sacred to folk music.


Slavic Youth Choir

Monday, December 10 at 6:30 p.m.
Join us for an evening of traditional Russian and Ukrainian Christmas songs performed by the Slavic Gospel Church Youth Choir.


Campbell Road

Monday, December 17 at 6:30 p.m.
Campbell Road is a Celtic band that mixes traditional Irish pub music with Scottish political rants, old English ballads, American bluegrass tunes, and the occasional Galician, Breton or Swedish influence.

Craig Romano

Craig Romano Urban Hikes

Tuesday, December 11 at 6 p.m.

Winter is the perfect time for exploring lowland hikes closer to home. Local author and hiking authority Craig Romano will be at Mount Vernon Library sharing some of his favorite hikes from his new book, Urban Trails: Everett, including trails on Camano and Whidbey Islands. Please join us for some armchair hiking and plan your next adventure with the help of the passionate and inspiring Craig Romano. Signed books will be available for sale, just in time for holiday gift giving. Cash or check only, please.

Join students from Underground Writing as Washington State Poet Laureate Claudia Castro Luna talks about her life, reads samples of her poetry, and leads a writing workshop. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served.
