Mount Vernon City Library CARnival!

Start your engines and race down to Mount Vernon City Library for a CARnival  on Friday, September 14 from 6-8 p.m. There will be fun for all ages at this free, after-hours event.
 
Vehicles from Skagit Speedway, Motorcars Limited, Skagit Valley College Autotechs and Frankie the Fire Engine will be on display in the library’s parking lot.

The fun continues inside with carnival games and Hotwheels™ time trials and 4-way races through the stacks. 

Teens and adults will also have the chance to compete in a remote control car obstacle course, race for the title of Mario Cart Wii champion, or try out virtual driving with the library’s Oculus Rift headset.
