Reopening

The library is opening regular hours today, 10-13-2025. Staff have returned home, and systems have been rebooted.

This morning, I watched the disaster response flyover footage on the Skagit Valley. It is clear that the record-breaking floods have significantly impacted many families and businesses. A house my family lived in for many years had water lapping at the back door. 

We have extended due dates for everyone so those impacted have a bit more time to readjust, and emergency parking at MVLC is still in effect. 

Let's hope the week ahead is less eventful🤞.
