The new Library Commons will house the largest children’s section north of Seattle.

More space means more books!

Every dollar you give today will help fill the shelves in the new Children’s Library with books and educational resources to challenge young minds. More resources provide the infrastructure for each child’s imaginative explorations that encourage the resourceful thinking that leads to thoughtful citizenship.

Giving Bonuses

When you contribute to the Library Giving Day Campaign between now and April 3, you will receive the following bonuses in appreciation for your support:

Exclusive Tour Raffle: Every donor will be automatically entered into a raffle for an exclusive tour of the new Mount Vernon Library Commons happening in May. Lucky winners will get a sneak peek behind the scenes and witness firsthand the magic of our new library space!

Farewell Party Invitation: Each Giving Day donor will be invited to join us for the Farewell Party at the Mount Vernon City Library where we will celebrate the history of

our beloved library.

Donor Wall: Every $1000 donation gives you a place on the Donor Wall.

Ways to Give

Give Online: Visit our website, mvlibraryfoundation.org, by April 3rd and click the "Donate" button to make your contribution in just a few clicks. Every dollar counts, and your online donation is quick and easy.

Mail in a Check: Prefer to send a check? No problem! Simply pop your donation in the mail, addressed to PO Box 202, Mount Vernon, WA 98273. Checks with an April 3rd date will count towards the Library Giving Day Campaign and enter you into the tour raffle.

Drop Off Your Donation: Want to feel the excitement of making a difference in person? Swing by the Library and drop off your donation. If you make your in-person donation on April 3rd, you can meet Mount Vernon Library Foundation Board members who are eager to answer any questions you have about the campaign or new Library.
