Mount Vernon School District Student Library Card Program

MVSD Student
Library Card Program

All MVSD students automatically have a library account set up for them at the Mount Vernon City Library. High School and Middle School students can use their student ID card as their library card to check out materials at the library. Library staff can look up elementary student’s accounts using their student number or name.

For online access to ebooks, audiobooks, and online learning tools students simply use their student number as their library card number (barcode) and the PIN number is their 4-digit birth year.

There are parental controls available if parents wish to use them, please speak to a library staff member if you have questions about your child's library account. Your child is not required to participate in the Student Library Card Program, and you can opt-out at any time by contacting the District Office.
