Trial By Flavor

A free program to help adults and families discover new flavors and explore the world together from your kitchen. Every two months we will choose an ingredient to be the star of our free cooking kits and there will be a demo video with a local chef cooking the featured recipe. Kitchen kits are available in the library while supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis. No library card required. Limit one kit per household.

Healthy Families Resource Day

Join us for a mini resource fair in the library courtyard on Wednesday August 24th from 1pm - 4:30pm. There will be Community Health Workers from Skagit County Public Health Behavioral Health, Emergency Preparedness, Communicable Diseases, and Family Health departments to answer questions, offer guidance, and empower you with resources to keep your family healthy.

Growing Inspiration

The Skagit Seed Share at MVCL is hosting a rotating group of local plant wizards with expertise on a variety of topics for drop in Q&A and discussion on the 2nd & 4th Saturday of every month beginning in August from 10-11:30am.
