The Book Sale is Back!

Eagle Scout Hunter Byland and the Friends of the Mount Vernon Library are having a book sale this Saturday! Proceeds from the book sale will go towards the purchase of Sphero coding robots for use in the Youth Services and Outreach departments. The books at the sale will include: gardening, cooking, crafts, wildlife and field guides, recent fiction bestsellers and classics, premium coffee table art and photo books, kids books and CDs, DVDs, Audio Books.

Want to learn a new skill, try out some tech, or get outside and have some fun? Check out all the cool stuff you can check out from the Library of Things! Patrons 18 and older with a current library card can check any of these items out for free. From telescopes to Kickball, there’s something for everyone. Every month, we will be adding new items, so keep checking in to see what’s new. This month's Library of Things debut is the Pickleball Kit.
