Blind Date with a Book

Blind Date with a Book!

Have you seen our new Blind Date with a Book display?  We wrapped up some of our favorite books and left some clues about the plot. Perfect for those looking for a new book to read! Come on in and check one out today or call us and we will put one on hold for you!

Magazines now available on Libby

Did you know...? You can download and read digital magazines from the Libby app

If you enjoy using our Libby app to read eBooks and listen to eAudiobooks, you might also like to enjoy digital magazines. We have a large collection of magazines covering a wide range of topics. The magazines look the same, with photographs and articles, and include all the same content as anything you would pick up at the newsstand, but they are 100% free. There are crafting magazines, decor and DIY magazines, magazines in other languages – we dare you not to find something to read. There are no borrowing limits nor expiration dates for the magazine titles, and you even have access to back issues.

Seed Sharing Library

Skagit Seed Share

The “Skagit Seed Library” has been renamed “Skagit Seed Share” which reflects our primary focus to share leftover seed that would otherwise go to waste and inspire families to discover the value of gardening. Seeds are available for free to all Skagit county residents, no library card required. Radishes, peas, and salad greens seeds are available now. Please bring your own containers or envelopes if possible.
