March Murder Mystery Game

Do you like reading mysteries? Do you like solving puzzles? Would you like to help solve a crime from the comfort of your armchair?

Please register your willingness to help at www.mountvernonwa.gov/library. A contract (game rules) and some background on the crime will be emailed to you. If this is not possible, let the Library staff at curbside know (codeword: jewel!) and they will take your information and get you all the information you need to begin.

Seed Starting Basics Video Gardening Series

Rami Warburton is a farmworker and cheesemaker in the valley and the founder of the Skagit Seed Library. In this 5 part video series Rami will discuss topics such as planting from seed, transplanting, garden planning, sustainable soil practices, and pollinator plants. A new video will premiere every Wednesday afternoon throughout the month of March on Facebook, Instagram and the library YouTube channel. Don't forget the library has family seed packs and pollinator seed packs available now. 79 seed packs went out in the month of February and it is not too late to get yours! You can request them on our website or by giving us a call at 360-336-6209.
