Mount Vernon City Library Closure
The Mount Vernon City Library will be closed beginning Monday, March 23rd, at 6 pm. The library building and book drops will be closed until further notice.
At this time, we plan to reopen on April 1st, 2020, but due to the fluid and dynamic aspect of the current situation with COVID-19, that is subject to change. Please connect with us on Facebook, subscribe to our newsletter, or check our website for the most current information on library services.
In the meantime, you may still place hold requests online which will become available to you once we reopen. Digital checkouts are also available. All current checkouts have been renewed until April 30th, 2020 and there are no accruing fines.
If you have any questions, please leave us a voicemail at (360) 336-6209 or send us an email and someone will be in contact with you.
