Mount Vernon City Library is currently operating under reduced hours as of Wednesday, March 18. Our new hours are Monday - Thursday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Friday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. This is effective until further notice.
The library is open for "to go" services only. Patrons can place holds online using our website, or by calling (360) 336-6209.
You will be notified when your hold is available. We ask that families only send one member to pick up holds. Due to the volume of requests, please do not come to the library until you are notified.
During the next six weeks, no overdue fees will accrue on materials. We are encouraging patrons if they are well and able to return their items to our outdoor book drops when they are finished with them. Please return all items to our outdoor book drops. Our indoor book drops are not open at this time.
We believe one of the great benefits of the Library is its support of a community. Thank you for your patronage and flexibility during this time.
Please share questions or concerns with Library staff, either by calling us at (360) 336-6209 or via email.
