Mount Vernon Ctiy Library Closure

Monday, March 23, 2020

Dear Library Patrons,

The City of Mount Vernon has decided to close many in-person services citywide, including the Library, playgrounds, and City Hall offices effective Tuesday, March 24 until further notice. The COVID-19 pandemic is a very fluid situation and we are sorry that we have had to readjust our offerings so often. Library services are essential for many educational, social, and business development reasons, and limiting services in very difficult for us.

Over the next few weeks, the library will launch new services and offerings to support families, businesses, and individuals impacted by COVID-19. Please connect with us on Facebook, subscribe to our newsletter, or check our website for the most current information on library services.

As a reminder, we have great digital offerings, and we will spend more on these resources while the building is closed.

Thank you for your understanding. We will back as soon as we can!
