Librarians read a lot. And when we find a book we love, we want to share it with other readers. Our booklists will help you identify some of the best books in our collection, as well as new titles that have recently hit the shelves.


Not sure what you want to read? We are happy to personally shop for you! 


Our Personal Shopping service helps you get your own personalized recommendations. After filling out a brief form below about your broad preferences, we will curate a bag of books, movies, or audiobooks for your enjoyment. Try it today. The form can be emailed to mvlibrary@mountvernonwa.gov (feel free to take a picture of the form or just email the answers), dropped off at the library, or just give us a call with your answers.
