This project will provide congestion relief, safety, and accessibility improvements to the signalized intersections on College Way and Riverside Drive. It includes construction of yellow flashing left turn signals, LED street light upgrades, American with Disability Act (ADA) upgrades including curb ramps, push button and countdown pedestrian signals at twelve intersections on College Way (Freeway Drive - Waugh Road) and Riverside Drive (Pacific Avenue - Fir Street).
Funding for this project is through the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).

Project Update (3/13/2020):
Work resumed on February 10, 2020, beginning with the western most signal and the new pedestrian push button posts. Nine of the twelve signals are complete. The remainder of work should be completed by the end of April 2020.
