Administrative Services Division conducts pre-employment background investigations, hiring new personnel, internal affairs investigations, research, collective bargaining, facilities, workplace safety, and management of the Department accreditation and training functions. Many of these responsibilities are requirements of federal, state and local laws that govern workplace conditions, safety and practices.
